Fran Keenan is a nationally recognized interior decorator and founder of Birmingham based, Fran Keenan Design. Known for her artful, creative mix, utilizing color, pattern and found pieces – drawing inspiration from fashion, history, art, lifestyle and photography – she creates a diverse profile of high-end, inspiring yet functional spaces.
Fran’s parents were design enthusiasts and she attributes the start of her love of design to her parents. Beginning her career in the fashion industry in New York City with Ralph Lauren Polo Jeans Co., Fran soon realized her passion was interior design and transitioned into lead designer roles with Diamond Baratta Design and Saks Department Store Group and finally Founding Decorating Editor for Cottage Living Magazine before opening her design firm in 2006.
Fran and her talented design staff accept each project with humility and gratitude for the trust instilled in them to make a house into an inspiring launchpad for daily living.
